Tajh Boyd (born September 25, 1990) is an American football quarterback for the Clemson Tigers. He took over as the Tigers starting quarterback in 2011.

Boyd attended Phoebus High School in Hampton, Virginia. He was awarded the Pete Dawkins Trophy for being the co-MVP of the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl after completing seven of nine passes for 179 yards and three touchdowns.[1]
After being redshirted in 2009, Boyd spent 2010 as the backup quarterback to Kyle Parker. He finished the season completing 33 of 63 passes for 329 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions.
Boyd took over as the starter in 2011.[2] After nine games, Boyd had completed 195 of 318 passes for 2,674 yards and 25 touchdowns.[3] At that point, he ranked third in passing touchdowns and seventh in passing yardage among all NCAA Division I FBS quarterbacks.[4][5]
